Please remember that we make these products to order.  Some of the most popular designs are kept in stock by our distributors.  There are hundreds of different engines listed with thousands of variants.

We will try to keep this list updated but if you do not see your engine listed here please ask!  We can  do custom stroker or knife-edge crank designs.  We can provide plastic templates for initial fitting and adjustment.

We have included some representative pictures of the scrapers we make.  If you would like to see a picture of a particular scraper please ask -- we would be more than happy to send one through.

Our standard scrapers cost only $59.95 unless noted.  When available (please enquire) our zero-clearance Teflon® scrapers run an additional $100.00 to the cost of the standard steel scraper unless noted.

Remember, your vehicle may have an engine made by a different manufacturer so check both product lines.  If you are still unsure, please contact us.

Porsche 944, 951, 968 L4: 2.5L 2479cc and 2.7L 2681cc (both 78.9mm stroke as used in 944 variants); 3.0L 2990cc (88mm stroke -- as used in 968, stroked version of scraper)  Customer request led to this advanced composite scraper.  It uses steel with vibration absorbing doubling plates and a sandwiched polymer layer.  Only $79.95

Teflon® stock and knife-edged versions $199.95; the Teflon® version includes the rear screening found on the windage tray setup:

Windage tray setups:  The windage trays have either the steel or Teflon bladed upstroke scraper built into the framework.  In addition, the windage tray setups have a downstroke scraper that bolts onto the frame.  The downstroke scraper was originally used in the 928 windage tray setup and has been adapted over.  The 944/968 engine is derived from the 928 V8.

You must first determine whether you have what we term an "early" or "late" style pan (968 and some earlier engines).  There are a number of different pans variations but for the windage tray it is the style of the internal ribs that is important.  The style of the internal ribs determines the screening pattern used.

This is the "early" style:

This is the "late" style:

These two pictures of a previous "early" tray help to give you a sense of how the windage tray works with the existing pan:

Here is a picture of a previous "late" tray sitting in a pan:

The current trays have removable screening that helps when fitting to the engine.

Here is a series of pictures of a "late" style Teflon tray (the Teflon insert is not yet installed):

$359.95 for the steel version; $459.95 for the Teflon bladed version.

We also make an oil pickup support bracket for the 944/951/968 engines that can be used with our products or by itself.  The customer uses the engine as a jig and the bracket can be brazed or welded into place:

Porsche 924 2.0L: Dual scraper that works on both the up and downstroke $99.95

Upstroke section:    Downstroke section:

Teflon® bladed version: $199.95

Here are some pictures of the bare Teflon® framework and dual scraper:

Porsche 924 Windage tray setup.  The kit includes the dual scraper as part of the subframe.  Ten socket head cap screws are included (12.9 grade -- same as factory fasteners, same torque should be used).  $329.95; Teflon version (below) available for $429.95.

Vaughan Scott, 924 owner and racer writes on 924.org:

"... I've been fine since installing the crank scraper and Accusump. I've even run races pushing 45 minutes without issue."

"Note that the design of the crank
scraper (even the single one I have) fits up very close against the oil pan on the "low" side. This acts then as a baffle to keep all the oil from climbing up the side of the block on the LH turns..."

"... a report on the condition of my bearings, as I replaced my piston rings yesterday, so was able to check them out. After 2 full seasons of racing, the rod bearings look about like a 30kmi street car - in excellent shape!"

July 2nd, 2008:

I installed my 944 Turbo Windage tray/Teflon crank scraper and I’m happy to report my oil pressure is consistently 1 bar higher than previously.  Normally after working the engine at sustained high rpms and coming back down to idle I would see the gauge fluctuating above and below the 2 bar line.  Now under the same driving conditions using the exact same oil, I never see below 3 bar at idle.  I just thought I’d share my experience with your product.

Thank you,

Chris Jurkiewicz

The Porsche 944S Scraper and Windage tray you made up for us WORKS GREAT!
The engine revs more freely near the top and really pulls. It would actually labor at the top end of the range before.
I wish we had a chance to hit the Dyno but the performance I would say speaks for itself.

928 -V8

$938.95  Well tested windage control system for the wet sump; currently the most complex aftermarket system in the world for any engine.  Part of the complexity comes from the customer being able to follow the elaborate factory torque sequence on the numerous bedplate fasteners; part of the complexity comes from the severity of the windage problem itself.  Like our other Porsche products, the kit has been upgraded through many generations of design.

The system is available for different stock and aftermarket strokes and crankshafts.  Please be sure to specify what engine you have.  if you are using aftermarket rods it is strongly suggested that you use the Teflon bladed system.

It is also available in a modified form to be used with a dry sump system.  We will need to see pictures of the interior of the dry sump pan in order to know what should be done.

Teflon bladed system $1038.95

Please contact us for pictures and/or fitment instructions.

Please be aware that these systems should be ordered well in advance of fitment.

These systems are also available through our excellent distributor:
